Charles St. Pierre (1935 - 2009)

Charles was hired on April 17, 1955 as a Radio Operator at Paw Paw, and transferred to East Lansing in 1957 to be closer to his family.  In 1962 he was promoted to Technician and transferred to Travers City.

MDOT began building their statewide system and Chuck decided he wanted to get in on the ground floor so he transferred over and worked out of Cadillac.

Later chuck left MDOT and went to work for Motorola as Tech rep in MI.  He spent several years there and then left them and went to work for City of Lansing at their radio shop.

Later the MSP had an opening and he expressed a desire to come back and build on his retirement.  He and Joe Krett opened up a radio shop for MSP at the Armory in Detroit when we started the freeway patrols.

Chuck retired from MSP in (xxxxxxxx).
